- Open www.primevideo.com and sign in with your usual Amazon account.
- If Prime Video was already open, refresh the page. The ad list is emptied as each movie or episode loads.

Check that Prime Video is on in BingeLift and that you are watching on www.primevideo.com, then refresh the page and start the title again.
You are outside India
BingeLift’s Prime Video support was checked in India. Amazon delivers ads differently in other regions, so ads may still appear there, and some titles may not play with BingeLift on. If that happens, switch Prime Video off.
The video buffers or says it is unavailable
Switch BingeLift off for Prime Video and refresh. If the title plays normally with it off, leave Prime Video off for now and tell us the title and your country.
Ads during live sport or live TV
Live events, live sport and live TV channels are not covered. BingeLift’s Prime Video support is for on-demand movies and episodes.
You changed the Prime Video switch
Refresh the page after turning Prime Video off or on. The change applies to the next title that loads.

Can I use BingeLift to block Prime Video ads?
Yes, you can use BingeLift to block ads on the Amazon Prime Video website. Install BingeLift in Chrome on your computer, then watch on the Prime Video website. You can change its ad-blocking switch in the popup.
How do I remove ads from Prime Video?
Amazon’s way is its paid ad-free add-on, called Prime Video Ultra in the US. On a computer, BingeLift removes ads on the Prime Video website in Chrome; its Prime Video support was checked in India. See Prime Video ads explained.
Why does Prime Video show ads now?
Amazon made ads the default on Prime Video, in the US from January 2024 and in India from June 2025, and sells ad-free viewing as an extra.
Is BingeLift the same as Prime Video’s ad-free option?
No, BingeLift is not Prime Video’s ad-free option. It is a Chrome extension. It does not change your Amazon subscription or include a different Prime Video plan.

No, BingeLift does not work in the Prime Video TV app. Use it on the Prime Video website in Chrome on your computer. Fire TV, television and phone apps are separate.

Keep using your existing Prime Video account and watchlist. BingeLift does not unlock titles or change your plan.
Why might I still see an ad?
Ad formats can change. Refresh the page after checking your Prime Video switch. If playback is affected, turn the switch off and visit Help.
