A video will not play.
Start with these three checks. Your other platform settings can stay on.
Turn off this platform
Open BingeLift and switch off the site you are watching.
Refresh and try again
Reload the video page, then press play.
Check your sign-in
If it still will not play, check your account and try with other ad blockers off.
If playback works with BingeLift off, leave that platform off for now.
YouTube ad blocker not working?
Open BingeLift on YouTube and check that Video ads is on. Refresh after changing a setting.
If YouTube asks you to disable your ad blocker, turn off its BingeLift switch and refresh. Check other ad blockers too.

An advert still appears.
Check that the platform switch is on, then refresh. Use the website in Chrome on your computer.
For Pluto TV, ITVX and Channel 4, choose an on-demand programme. Some ads may still appear as services change.
What does “Ads handled” mean?
It shows BingeLift’s activity, rather than an exact number of commercials or minutes saved. One ad can involve more than one action.
The count can reset when Chrome restarts or BingeLift is updated or turned off. Your settings are saved separately.
Find your platform’s controls.
Open the video site, then click BingeLift in Chrome. Cannot find it? Open Chrome’s extensions menu and pin BingeLift.
If Chrome asks for website access, review the extension’s access settings. See permissions explained.
Change the appearance.
Choose Light, Dark or System at the bottom of the popup. System follows your computer’s theme.
Changing the look does not change your ad settings.
