BingeLift reads and changes supported video pages and ad playback information to block ads. This happens in your browser.

No BingeLift account or payment details are required. The extension does not send its activity totals to BingeLift for analytics.

Saved settings

Platform and YouTube preferences stay in Chrome. Your appearance choice can sync through Chrome if extension syncing is enabled. Activity counts are temporary and can reset.

Why does Chrome ask for website access?

BingeLift uses Chrome’s “read and change data on all websites” permission to handle ads on supported video pages.

It saves your preferences and shows controls for the site you are watching. You can manage website access in Chrome’s extension settings.

BingeLift is a Manifest V3 extension. Here is what each permission is used for:

ScriptingAdds BingeLift’s ad-handling scripts to the supported websites you have switched on.
Active tabLets the popup work with the tab you have open, for example to refresh it when you ask.
Declarative net requestBlocks certain YouTube ad requests, only while YouTube and its Video ads control are both on. No other platform uses it.

Your choices

Change platform settings, manage website access in Chrome or remove BingeLift at any time. Refresh open video pages after making a change.

Website and support

This website does not require an account and does not use analytics or advertising cookies. If you contact support, we only use what you send us to reply to you.

Third-party services

Chrome and the video platforms you use have their own privacy policies. Those services still receive the information they normally receive when you use them.

Children’s privacy

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has shared personal information with us, contact us to request its removal.

Retention and deletion

Saved browser preferences remain until you change or clear them. Activity counts are temporary. Contact us to request deletion of personal information you have sent to support.
